Gov. Polis issues executive order to assist election cyber security
COLORADO (KRDO) -- Governor Jared Polis is taking new steps to provide Colorado with a safe and secure presidential primary election. The governor issued an executive order yesterday, Feb. 27th, to activate the Colorado National Guard to assist with election cybersecurity defense efforts.
Six to nine members of the Cyber Operations Element will be assisting. This extra wall of security will be in place for up to thirty days.
