2 injured after head-on crash at Platte and Academy
The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a crash at Platte Ave. and Academy Blvd. Thursday around noon, and while the occupants were trapped at first, they were both able to escape without major injuries.
Firefighters were on the scene at about 12:05 p.m. It’s not yet clear what led to the crash.
One person was in each vehicle, and they were both taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
