Colorado Springs firefighters respond to fire at commercial marijuana grow house
Colorado Springs firefighters were called to a structure fire near the Olympic Training Center Thursday morning.
When crews arrived at 2222 E Boulder Street, they entered the building using breathing apparatus devices due to the air quality.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department reports the fire happened at a licensed commercial marijuana grow house.
Boulder Street was closed in the area between Bonfoy and Praire. The Mountain Metro bus system had to detour a route near the fire during the morning hours.
The fire is currently under investigation.
