Fire set outside Colorado Springs apartment, several gunshots heard in the area
Colorado Springs firefighters and police officers were dispatched to a fire set outside of an apartment complex in the 4300 block of Morning Sun Ave. Monday night.
The fire caused minimal damage and was extinguished quickly. No injuries were reported.
While authorities were on the scene of the fire, several gunshots were heard in the vicinity.
No injuries were reported and it is unknown at this time if the gunshots are associated with the fire.
The cause of the fire and gunshots are still under investigation.
