Man killed in overnight crash in Colorado Springs

A man in Colorado Springs lost his life in a late night crash on Saturday. It occured around North Carefree Drive and Whip Trail.

When police arrived at the scene they found the vehicle heavily damaged and crashed into the side of a shed. The victim was still inside the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time it is unknown if drugs and alcohol were involved in the crash, but police believe the victim was driving at high speeds.

If this is rule a traffic fatality, it will be the 10th in Colorado Springs this year.
