Woman stabbed in Colorado Springs after caught trespassing

A woman was stabbed in the back multiple times after she was caught trespassing late Tuesday night.

Police were called to the 700 block of South Union Blvd. for reports of a stabbing. After further investigation, it was revealed that the woman had trespassed and the owner confronted her. A fight ensued and the owner’s son then stabbed the woman.

The woman was transported to the hospital where she was treated for multiple stab wounds. Her injuries are considered non-life threatening.

Police have charged the woman with trespassing. Authorities have also charged the son with assault.

The investigation is ongoing.
