EPCSAR to help in search for missing hiker Thursday, not asking for civilian assistance

The El Paso County Search and Rescue is helping Thursday in the search for missing hiker Kevin Rudnicki.

EPCSAR announced their plans on their official Facebook page Wednesday night. The group said they will be in coordination with Rudnicki’s family in searching specific locations.

They also asked that the public not help in Thursday’s searching saying quote, “we appreciate the 90 plus people that came out today [Wednesday] and looked with us.”

EPSCAR thanked the local restaurants who reached out and donated food and drinks to Wednesday’s search team.

We have not been given any other updates at this time. The El Paso County Search and Rescue team did say they will be posting any progress in Kevin Rudnicki’s search to their social media.
