Snow comes to an end, frigid temperatures

EVENING: Heavier bands of snow continue to come to an end from north to south, departing the region by 10 PM. Temperatures remain frigid, with lows tonight in the single digits and low teens. Any wet roads will refreeze, so please use caution with any overnight travel.

MONDAY: Another cool day is on tap, with highs in the 40s and possibly low 50s out across the Plains. 44 is the anticipated high in the Springs, 48 in Pueblo. We enter a dry period with the sun making a return. A big day of melting is expected!

EXTENDED: A warming trend begins Tuesday. We stay dry for the week ahead, with temperatures returning to the 60s and 70s by Friday.
