Pueblo Co. Sherrif’s Office launches messaging service for Saint Charles Fire information
PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) announced Wednesday that in coordination with the U.S. Forest Service Complex Incident Management Team and the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, they are launching a messaging service for information about the Saint Charles Fire.

According to the PCSO, the opt-in messaging service will deliver routine updates via text messages. To activate the service, text SaintCharlesFire to 77295. Text and data rates apply.
The sheriff's office said the messaging tool will allow anyone who opts in to receive messages on the fire to include those who have property in the vicinity but live in other counties or out of state. For critical matters, you may also receive a robocall in addition to the text message.
The PCSO said subscribers can opt-out at any time and the messaging service will be available until the Saint Charles Fire is fully contained.
