Hot today, stray shower or storm possible – 6/27/18
TODAY: We will kick off your Wednesday with a mostly sunny sky and very warm temperatures. We climb into the 90s and 100’s in the lower elevations today, with 80s in our mountain cities. Pueblo and Colorado Springs will both be flirting with record highs today. More clouds build toward the afternoon with the chance for a stray shower or storm in the mountains and the Springs.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows in the 50s and 60s.
EXTENDED: We will still be hot over the next several days under a mostly sunny sky. Wind kicks up a bit Thursday into Friday which will allow for areas of elevated to critical fire weather. Our next system moves in for the weekend which will bring us cooler highs and temperatures in the 80s and 90s in the lower elevations. 70s will be felt in the mountains.
