Scattered storms later – 05/15/18
Today: We’re tracking some areas of clouds this morning. We’ll have partly sunny skies throughout the rest of the day today. Temperatures will range in the 60s and 70s – that’s average for this time of year! This afternoon and evening, we have a slight chance for some scattered storms. A few of these storms could be strong-to-severe. Stay weather aware!
Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies are expected overnight. Lows drop to the 40s and 50s. Storms will wind down late tonight.
Extended: Temperatures warm up noticeably Wednesday and Thursday! Highs will reach the 70s and 80s on both days. A few in the eastern plains could hit the 90s on Thursday! Most across southern Colorado stay dry Wednesday and Thursday; however, the eastern plains could be battling a few severe storms on both of those days. Thursday, southern Colorado could be dealing with elevated fire danger. Between Friday and this upcoming weekend, we’ll be cooler and stormier. Storms become more widespread throughout this time frame.
