Three sent to hospital following overnight crash in Colorado Springs
A major car crash in Colorado Springs sends three people to the hospital.
The crash happened just after 11:00 p.m. Sunday, at the intersection of Astrozon Blvd. and Powers Blvd. Colorado Springs Police say a vehicle traveling northbound on Powers made a left turn in front of a southbound vehicle.
Two teenagers inside one of the vehicles were transported to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was also taken to the hospital, but their injuries were minor.
The intersection of Powers and Astrozon was closed overnight as CSPD worked to clear the scene. All lanes of traffic are back open.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
