Strong storms possible Monday – 5/13/18
TONIGHT: Strong storms are possible through the first part of the evening in places just north of the northern El Paso County line. The threat for storms with a punch decreases after sunset, and low clouds develop due to easterly, upsloping winds. A few of those clouds could produce an isolated shower or storm. Lows cool to the 40s and 50s tonight.
EXTENDED: Tomorrow could bring another round of isolated strong to severe storms in the afternoon. The main threats with any strong storms would be hail and gusty winds. Afternoon highs will warm into the 50s in the mountains and the 60s and 70s in the lower elevations. This trend could even carry over into Tuesday. Off and on storm chances continue through the rest of the week with highs in the 60s in the higher elevations and 70s and 80s in the lower.
