Colorado Springs police discover stolen car and credit cards, among other things during traffic stop
A Colorado Springs police officer discovered a stolen motorcycle, construction tools and at least 10 different credit cards and IDs during a traffic stop Wednesday.
After Officer Edmonds stopped 28-year-old Ayla Lee on 2900 Tremont Street, he realized the vehicle she was driving was stolen. Further investigation revealed the car license plates, construction tools, a motorcycle, mail and credit cards/IDs were all stolen and in the car during the stop.
Lee was arrested and charged with motor vehicle theft. Additional charges are pending after further investigation.
