1 taken to hospital after plane crashes into helicopter at Loveland airport
A plane crashed into a helicopter Friday morning at an airport in Loveland and one pilot was taken to the hospital.
The Northern Colorado Regional Airport tweeted out about the collision, which happened on a runway. The airport says the collision was between a Beechcraft Bonanza and a Robinson R44. ( PHOTOS )
The helicopter pilot, who wasn’t identified, suffered minor injuries, the airport said. No other injuries were reported.
Aerial views of the airport showed the runway shut down Friday afternoon as crews worked to clear the crash. It was reopened by about 3:45 p.m.
