Air Force Academy cadet found not guilty of sexual assault
A military court martial has found Air Force Academy Cadet First Class Steven Fox not guilty of sexual assault.
Fox was accused of assaulting a civilian who was staying at the Academy in 2015. The prosecution claimed Fox invited the victim to a dance on campus but instead forced him to stay in his dorm.
The defense argued Fox and the alleged victim were in a consensual relationship.
A panel of seven military officers reviewed the evidence and determined that Fox was not guilty of all charges and specifications.
Fox was never required to leave the Academy during the investigation and remains a cadet today.
