Body pulled out of popular Colorado Springs lake
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - An investigation is ongoing after a body was found in Prospect Lake Thursday morning.
The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed it initially received reports of a possible body in the lake around 10:20 a.m.
According to a KRDO crew at the scene, the Colorado Springs Fire Department is also at the lake. As of 10:39 a.m., the body has been pulled from the lake.
At 10:55 a.m., CSPD said it doesn't appear that a crime occurred, but the investigation is active.
