Few Storms Possible On Thursday

RP1
Scattered storms are expected again Thursday afternoon, but they should be more widely scattered.

TONIGHT: While the threat for severe weather diminishes overnight, rain is expected to linger for portions of Southern Colorado.

TOMORROW: There could be some ongoing rain showers to start off the day, with another round of afternoon storms expected as our upper level system finally migrates over and east of Colorado. This round of storms, however, won't be as intense or as widespread as we hade on Wednesday. Highs will return to the 60s and 70s for most of the region.

EXTENDED: We continue to warm up with a calmer and drier setup developing over the area on Friday and Saturday, that being said, afternoon thunderstorms will remain in the forecast during the afternoons make for a more seasonal couple of days. The next system to impact our area looks to arrive early next week, and will bring with it an uptick in storm chances.
