Marty’s Sunday Morning Forecast – Less Wind! 12/1/19

Overview:  As the storm moves farther away from the area the weather will become much more tranquil for a while.

Today:  We'll be chilly this morning, and there will still be some breezy pockets over the mountains and the far eastern plains, but all areas will be mostly sunny with less wind today. Expect afternoon temperatures in the 40s for the plains with 30s over the mountains.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy with low temperatures in the teens and 20s for most areas.

Extended:  Next week will be warmer and drier with occasional clouds and periods of wind. Afternoon high temperatures will reach the 40s and 50s most days, but the warmest areas could reach the 60s on Monday and possibly to start next weekend. Our next decent chance for rain and snow will probably be sometime next weekend, although some scattered snow showers could develop over the ski resorts at times during the week and a few snow flurries are possible over our local mountain areas Wednesday night.
