Marty’s Sunday Morning Forecast – Cooler, But Less Cloudy – 11/17/19
Overview: We're tracking warm air for a couple of days. Mountain wave clouds may block out the sun occasionally and we are tracking some waves that will bring changes to our weather through the middle of the week.
Today: Partly cloudy and cooler with high temperatures in the 50s for most areas.
Tonight: Partly cloudy and not as chilly with low temperatures in the 30s for most areas.
Extended: Warmer air looks to work over the area early this week with high temperatures warming into the 60s and 70s by Tuesday. We're tracking a couple of waves that will work together to bring some significant changes to the area Wednesday and Thursday. All areas will be mostly cloudy and colder starting Wednesday, and we expect chances for areas of rain and snow Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night. Thursday will be cold enough for snow, and if the wave tracks favorably for the area some areas could receive accumulating snow, but right now it appears much of southern Colorado will miss the heaviest precipitation with these waves. We should begin to warm up again late Friday & Saturday.
