Tracking cool & windy day, fire danger

what to expect
KRDO

TODAY: Another system tracks north of Colorado today, bringing us gusty winds (25-45 MPH) and isolated showers. Although cooler air is moving into the region today, the airmass behind the front is very dry, prompting widespread Red Flag Warnings. Afternoon highs drop to the 50s and low 60s along and east of I-25.

EASTER WEEKEND: We'll have some frigid mornings, waking up around freezing. Highs warm to the low to mid-60s Saturday, then mid-60s to low-70s Sunday. Expect just breezy winds and mostly sunny skies.

EXTENDED: Next week brings an increase in precipitation by Tuesday! We'll time out the showers and storms for you as we get closer.
