WIDESPREAD RAIN BY THE WEEKEND

TONIGHT: Clearing skies after 10pm with temps in the 50's and 60's before sunrise Thursday morning.

TOMORROW: Mix of sun and clouds with highs in the 80's and 90's. Pop-up showers and storms will favor higher terrain areas once again after 2pm. Flash flooding the primary concern for areas west of I-25 and local mountain cities.

EXTENDED:  Daily shower and thunderstorm activity will continue through the weekend.  Widespread rain returns by Saturday and monsoon moisture begins to pour back into the state. Flash flooding will be the main concern this weekend. Temperatures will remain hot with daytime highs at or slightly above average for this time of the year.  We will see a gradual cooling trend by Sunday and Monday.
