TOASTY TEMPS THIS WEEKEND

TONIGHT: Evening storms will dissipate after 8pm. A few storms may linger for the southeast Plains into the overnight. Lows are expected to remain in the upper 50s and 60s across the region under partly clear skies.

WEEKEND: Drier and hot weather ahead as we head into the weekend. We'll see a few isolated thundershowers over the higher terrain this weekend, Saturday remains mostly dry with highs in the 80's and 90's while Sunday brings high temps in the mid-90's to low 100's along and east of the Arkansas river valley. Sunday storms will remain isolated over the high country

NEXT WEEK: Moisture returns on Monday and Tuesday yielding a higher chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms . Temps also subside with highs returning to more seasonal norms in the 70's and 80's for the Pikes Peak region and 90's from Pueblo to the eastern plains.
