Tracking cooler & wetter weather next week

TODAY: We stay in the upper 60s in Colorado Springs and the low 70s in Pueblo and other areas of the Arkansas River Valley. Expect dry conditions and breezy winds.

EXTENDED: We stay in the 60s and 70s for the rest of the work week with mostly dry weather. We're tracking the chance for a few showers Saturday (AKA Halloween) night. Sunday could bring heavier mountain rain and snow, but likely just a few more showers along and east of I-25. We gradually cool through the weekend into early next week, with highs in the mid-50s in Colorado Springs and the mid-to-high 50s in Pueblo and across the Plains by Monday. Precipitation chances increase Monday and Tuesday.
