Partly cloudy and warmer today, with isolated thundershowers

Partly cloudy and mild Thursday afternoon with scattered showers and thunderstorms.

TODAY: Partly cloudy skies, and still below average temperatures this afternoon. Highs temperatures today will range from the upper-60s to the mid-70s.

TONIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms possible tonight through about 11 pm. Partly cloudy overnight with morning lows Friday in the 40s and 50s.

EXTENDED: Unsettled weather in the cards for Friday afternoon and evening with strong to possibly severe thunderstorms... especially across the eastern plains. Highs tomorrow will climb into the 70s and 80s. Warm temperatures for the weekend with a small chance for isolated afternoon thundershowers. A cooler and wetter pattern develops early next week.
