COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO)--

Showers and thunderstorms will stay well north of Colorado Springs and Pueblo for the rest of this evening. Skies will remain partly cloudy overnight and a stray shower is always a possibility. But Monday will start out with sunny skies and cool temperatures in the 40s. Midday temperatures will be in the upper 60s and winds will be out of the northwest at 15-20 mph.

Another surge of cooler air Monday night will send temperatures down into the 50s and 60s on Tuesday and Wednesday, but then temperatures will rebound back into the lower 80s by the weekend.
