COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO)--

Warm and windy conditions will stick around for the second day of our Memorial Day weekend. A RED FLAG WARNING for extreme fire danger will go into effect at noon Sunday, so be careful with grilling. A fast moving jet stream above will make conditions windy, especially near late afternoon thundershowers. Those showers will be mainly north of Colorado Springs and in the foothills to the west.

It will be a bit cooler on Monday with just a slight chance for an afternoon shower. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s. The rest of the week will start cool with showers and thunderstorms possible, then warmer weather returns for next weekend.
