TOMORROW: high pressure builds into the intermountain west with rapid warming by the afternoon hours as high temps soar into the 60's to mid 70's for the Pikes Peak region and 80's along the Arkansas River Valley.

EXTENDED: A warming trend will carry us into the weekend. Mainly sunny and warmer Thursday with highs topping out in the upper-70s and low-80s. 80s and 90s will take us into the weekend Friday and Saturday. We'll see a small chance for afternoon thundershowers starting Sunday and again on Monday.
