Mostly cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms today, mainly after 2pm.

TONIGHT: Showers and a few embedded rumbles of thunder are possible along I-25 through midnight. These storms will be your general variety storms with no severe weather expected. Areas west of I-25 are likely to receive a few snow showers. Mostly cloudy and cool overnight. Morning lows in the upper-30s and low-40s

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with only a little filtered sunshine through the mid-late morning time-frame. Below average temps in the 40's and 50's with a chance for afternoon showers and a few storms. The southern Sangres will receive an additional 3-6" for elevations around 8k feet and for elevations above 11k feet, closer to a foot is possible from Monday to Tuesday at 6pm.

EXTENDED: Decreasing clouds Tuesday night yielding ample sunshine on Wednesday with highs warming into the 50's and 60's for the Pikes Peak region. Drier and warmer through the end of the work week with highs by Friday in the 80s
