Summertime temps headed to Colorado

Tonight: Clear skies with light winds across much of the area. Low temperatures hitting about 49 degrees in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

Thursday: Starting the day off with mostly sunny skies and temperatures warming quickly, reaching into the high 70s and low 80s by the early afternoon. A few more clouds will likely develop over Colorado Springs during this timeframe, but expect most of the isolated showers and weak thunderstorms to stay west of I-25 in the mountains.

Friday: Even less of a chance for precipitation as the vast majority of central/southern Colorado will sit under sunny skies through the day. High temperatures will approach the warmest we've seen all year, at approximately 85 degrees in Colorado Springs and 88 in Pueblo.

Extended: The high pressure ridge we're currently under should push off on Saturday, bringing increasing rain and thunderstorm chances for Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Good news, these storms are currently looking sub severe, but we'll of course keep an eye on it as we get closer the weekend.
