Winds Finally Calming Overnight

Tonight: High Wind Warnings expire at 8pm as strong wind gusts will finally let up overnight. Winds hit 54mph in Colorado Springs and some spots saw 60mph along HWY50. Other than the winds, mostly clear skies and temperatures down to 23 degrees in Colorado Springs and 25 in Pueblo.


Sunday: Plenty of sunshine through the day with seasonal temperatures being felt in central/southern Colorado. Highs to 60 degrees in Colorado Springs and 66 in Pueblo. The winds will be breezy at times, but nothing like today, gusts to 25mph for most valley locations.

Extended: Entering into a nice warming trend to start the week as many will see temperatures 5-10 degrees above seasonal averages. Into the high 60s in Colorado Springs and low 70s along the HWY 50 corridor. Expect daily sunshine with calm weather conditions through Thursday. A cold front will pass through Colorado on Friday, bringing the chance for precipitation and cooler temperatures to start next weekend.
