High Wind Warning Tonight

Tonight: A strong low-pressure system will move through Colorado tonight and bring wind gusts anywhere from 55-65mph along the I-25 corridor. High Wind Warnings are in effect for the area till 8am. The bulk of the heavy snowfall will stay in the higher elevations as the San Juan's are looking at 2-3 feet of snow over the next few days. Colorado Springs and Pueblo will get a quick burst of rainfall during the early morning hours Sunday as the front passes by, but this will be short-lived and will turn mostly clear afterward. Low temperatures to 39 degrees in Colorado Springs and 44 in Pueblo.
Sunday: Staying windy during the morning with gradually calming conditions expected by the afternoon. Mostly sunny skies in central/southern Colorado with high temperatures significantly cooler than the last few days, reaching 55 degrees in Colorado Springs and 59 in Pueblo.
Extended: Chance rain/snow showers return for Monday afternoon in Colorado Springs as moisture will finally transition out of the mountains. Minimal accumulation is expected in the lower elevations, but brief heavy snowbands could impact visibility and road conditions at times. Clearing conditions by Tuesday with a return of sunny skies, high temperatures feeling much cooler this week, staying in the 40s through Friday.
