Marty’s Sunday Morning Forecast – A Little Cooler For The Plains – 11/1/2020

Overview:  After a cool start to Sunday the air should warm into next week with periods of wind and little chance for precipitation.

Today:  Mostly sunny today, but the air will be slow to warm over the plains thanks to the shallow layer of colder air left behind by the cold front. The afternoon will be breezy and cooler for the plains with high temperatures generally in the 50s and 60s. The mountains and mountain valleys won't notice much cooling as compared to Saturday, and in fact, some of our local mountain communities might actually warm a few degrees with high temperatures generally around or into the 50s to lower 60s as well.

Tonight:  Clear and not quite as cool with low temperatures in the 30s for most areas, but the high mountain valleys will cool into the teens and 20s.

Extended:  The workweek looks warm and dry with periods of wind and limited cloud cover. High temperatures most days will warm into the 60s and 70s for the plains with 50s and 60s for the mountains and mountain valleys. Friday could be a little cooler and Saturday looks windy.
