C-C-C-COLD TEMPS ARE COMING…….AND SNOW!

sunday snow

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and cold starts for Saturday morning with overnight lows in the teens and 20's

WEEKEND FORECAST: A brief warming trend for Saturday afternoon with breezy to windy conditions and highs in the 50's ahead of our Sunday snowstorm. Red Flag Fire Warnings have already been posted for Saturday. Much colder with snow in the forecast for Sunday.

SUNDAY STORM: Front officially moves through. Highs only in the 30's. Mostly cloudy all day with the first flakes possible for the Pikes Peak region after the noon hour. Snow will range from 2"-5" inches for parts El Paso County. 1-2" for Pueblo county. The bands of snow that set up will be the challenge which is why our snow ranges have a bit of a wider gap. Regardless of snow amounts, cold overnight lows will be in the single digits (YIKES!) so even areas with a light coating of snow could still experience problems for Monday morning's commute.

Frigid temperatures will also greet us on Monday morning along with those light lingering snow showers.
