A FEW MTN STORMS THIS EVENING
TONIGHT: Skies remain partly cloudy overnight. Morning lows Tuesday will fall into the upper-50s and low-60s by sunrise.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny for the morning time-frame with still a light haze of smoke hanging around into the afternoon hours. Temps a bit warmer in the low 90's for Colorado Springs and near 100° for the Eastern Plains. Isolated storms chances (mainly for higher terrain areas) after 3 pm. There will be a risk for isolated severe storms in far eastern Colorado along the border with Kansas.but expect most areas to stay dry.
EXTENDED: Afternoon thunderstorms chance will persist into the mid-week and stretch a little further to the west on Wednesday. Forecast highs will remain in the low to mid-90s through the end of the week.
