QUIET EVENING AHEAD

A few stray showers developed around the Pikes Peak region earlier this afternoon but most areas are trending under calm and dry conditions.

TONIGHT: partly cloudy skies tonight with a few clouds lingering towards sunrise Thursday morning. Overnight lows will fall into the upper-50s and low-60s by sunrise.

TOMORROW: Partly sunny with temps in the 80's and 90's for the Pikes Peak region and close to 100° along the Arkansas River Valley.

EXTENDED: Our chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms begin to increase as we head into the weekend. Right now we're looking at around a 30% chance for afternoon storms Saturday and an even higher chance Sunday… temperatures will also be slightly milder through the weekend.
