Mostly sunny skies and hot for Friday afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms are possible Saturday.

TODAY: Sunny skies with a few afternoon clouds Friday. Temperatures are heating up as we go into the weekend. Highs today will be in the mid-90s for Colorado Springs and the upper-90s and low-100s for Pueblo and the plains.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies early Friday evening and then generally clear skies overnight. Saturday morning lows will fall into the low and mid-60s by sunrise Saturday morning.

EXTENDED: A sunny start to the day with building clouds into the afternoon and evening. We will likely see isolated showers and thunderstorms into the afternoon and evening. Highs Saturday will climb into the mid and upper-90s with the low-100s across the south eastern plains. Sunday promise partly cloudy skies and hot temperatures with low end shower and thunderstorm chances.
