AFTERNOON STORMS CONTINUE THROUGH WEEKEND

MONSOON

TONIGHT: A few showers will linger into the late-night hours mainly west of I-25. We'll see partly cloudy skies overnight with morning starts in the low and mid-60s by sunrise Friday.

FRIDAY: Most of the day part dry for lower terrain areas. Mountain showers/storms fire up as early as noon-1pm. Slow moving nature of storms continues to yield a risk of flash flooding.

EXTENDED: A relatively strong southerly monsoonal flow will continue into the weekend. This means chances remain elevated for showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Highs this weekend will be in the upper-80s and low-90s. Temperatures will continue to trend downward early next week while we maintain a chance for afternoon storms.
