Severe storms possible today that could produce hail and flash flooding

Tonight we do have a good chance of seeing scattered showers and thunderstorms for most area along the I-25 Corridor. Some of the storms could turn severe as they race east across the Eastern Plains. Those severe storms could produce heavy rain, strong gusty winds, hail, and even an isolated tornado. The greatest risk for severe weather will be out on the Eastern Plains. Expect low temperatures to fall into the mid to upper 60s.

Thursday will bring us mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures once again. We do have a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm, and we're not expecting any severe weather. Highs will into the lower 90s in the Pikes Peak Region with warmer temperatures out on the Eastern Plains.

Expect partly cloudy skies on Friday with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. High will climb into the low to mid 90s.

It's looking like we could see another wet weekend here in Southern Colorado, with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday. We will have mostly cloudy skies on both days, with highs in the lower 90s.

Our rain chances continue into next week, with highs on Monday and Tuesday near 90 degrees.
