Mainly sunny skies and a little warmer Wednesday

TODAY: A great looking forecast for your Wednesday afternoon with plentiful sunshine and temperatures in the mid-60s for Colorado Springs and the mid-80s along the Highway 50 corridor. Winds will be light and variable.

TONIGHT: A few clouds around for Wednesday evening, with generally clearing skies as we head overnight into Thursday morning. Sunrise temperatures Thursday will drop into the upper 40s and low 50s around the region with a few 30s in the mountains.

EXTENDED: Temperatures will continue to warm up as we head towards the weekend. High pressure builds across southern Colorado through Friday, and we will begin to introduce afternoon shower and thunderstorms to the forecast by Friday afternoon. Heating up for the weekend with highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s Saturday and Sunday.
