Rinse & Repeat

KRDO

Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms again likely this evening. The storms tonight are slow moving and producing high rainfall totals making flash flooding the main threat. It's also possible one or two thunderstorms produce small hail and gusty winds. Gradually turning partly cloudy overnight with temperatures down to 58 degrees in Colorado Springs and 61 in Pueblo.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies to start the morning with increasing clouds during the midday hours. Temperatures continue to run 10-15 degrees above average for early June, reaching 85 degrees in Colorado Springs and 92 in Pueblo. More scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop by early afternoon in central/southern Colorado and push into the evening hours.

Extended: This trend of above average high temperatures and afternoon thunderstorm chances will continue through the rest of the work week. Keep in mind, much of Colorado is under drought conditions so this precipitation is much needed.
