RAIN/SNOW CHANCES RETURN

TUESDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy with temps in the 30's and 40's. Light rain possible across lower elevations ;however, snow chances more prominent across higher terrain areas or elevations above 8-9,000 feet.

EXTENDED: Snow showers likely ongoing through the mid-week forecast across the continental divide so the ski resorts will be rejoycing with a few inches of much-needed snow. As for valley locations, afternoon cloud coverage with a few hit or miss rain showers is the name of the game this week. Precipitation Wednesday and Thursday will be very limited so most locations will stay dry before noticeably cooler temps arrive by Thursday.
