A high-pressure ridge is currently located in the intermountain west, bringing Colorado above-average temperatures till Thursday. Changes coming for Thursday morning with rain/snow chances.

Tonight: Staying partly cloudy overnight along the I-25 corridor with temperatures dipping into the 20's overnight with no chance of precipitation.

Tuesday: The beautiful weather continues with temperatures reaching 58 degrees in Colorado Springs, putting us 15 degrees above average for early December. Plenty of sunshine through the day with light winds and staying dry.

Extended: A relatively weak low-pressure system will enter into western Colorado late Wednesday night that will reach I-25 locations early Thursday morning. Precipitation will initially start as light rain then change over to snow by mid-morning. Snow accumulation totals in the lower elevations will be minimal and commuters should be ready for wet road conditions.
