Another day of high winds and fire weather

TODAY: High winds and extreme fire danger are expected this afternoon and evening. Gusty conditions will spread across the region around 9AM. Widespread 50-60 MPH gusts are expected across the entirety of southern Colorado from ~9:00 AM until 7 PM. Very dry air will also yield extreme fire danger, with rapid fire growth expected. Temperatures are a bit cooler today, with highs in the 50s and 60s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with lows in the 20s and 30s. Wind gusts up to 20-30 MPH are possible.

WEEKEND: Fire weather will be anticipated to continue through the weekend. Plenty of sunshine and dry conditions are expected with mild temperatures in the 60s and 70s.
