Rain and Snow Showers

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO)--

A powerful late season snow storm continues to move south over Pueblo, and another round of light snow is flowing over the Front Range Foothills.

Here in Colorado Springs, we saw snowfall amounts in the 6 to 10 inch range, and although little more is expected, it might be hard to navigate the roads due to fog and light snow. Temperatures will hover around freezing for the rest of the night.

Sunday will start out cloudy and cold with snow showers, mixing with rain by midday. A little thunder is possible by late afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

The week ahead will be wet and unsettled with showers and thunderstorms each day, but by Friday, the skies will stay mostly sunny and our Memorial Day weekend will be warm and mainly dry.
