COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO)--

A powerful storm system brings rain and cooler temperatures to our state overnight. A few severe storms formed over Bent County on Sunday evening, but have since dissipated. Gusty winds followed over the Eastern Plains, and cooler temperatures followed.

Expect cloudy skies and a few showers overnight for Colorado Springs. Then plan for a chilly Monday with highs in the 50s.

Another storm brings the threat of rain on Tuesday night through Wednesday, but then dry weather will follow.
