Warm and Sunny Week Ahead
Tonight: Mostly clear skies in central/southern Colorado with no chance of precipitation and light winds. Low temperatures will reach to 35 degrees in Colorado Springs and 34 in Pueblo, with most valley locations staying slightly above freezing.
Monday: Nothing but sunshine through the day helping high temperatures reaching approximately ten degrees above average, 70 degrees in Colorado Springs and 74 in Pueblo. No chance of rain/snow and winds to 10mph.
Extended: Entering into a very calm weather pattern for the work week as a dominate ridge of high pressure will linger over the western United States through Friday night. The high pressure will make for little to no chance of precipitation and warm temperatures for early November. Friday/Saturday winds will increase dramatically with the approach of a strong cold front that will cross through Colorado Saturday night. Currently long range model runs are projecting 40-50mph gusts during that time frame. This system also looks quite cold with high temperatures on Sunday/Monday in the 30s. Expect rain/snow to make it's way back into the Colorado Springs forecast by late Sunday night. Of course as we get closer to next weekend we'll have more details, just something to keep an eye on for now.
