DAILY STORM CHANCES RETURN

Tonight: mostly clear overnight with no chance of precipitation. Low temperatures reaching into the mid 40s in Colorado Springs and high 40s across HWY 50.

Thursday: First half of the day remaining dry with increasing cloud coverage through the day keeping high temperatures near seasonal, into the low 70s in Colorado Springs and high 70s in Pueblo. Isolated rain showers are looking to start after 1pm for the I-25 corridor and then spreading to the eastern plains by early evening. Kit Carson/ Prowers Counties are the most likely spots for a stronger thunderstorm.

Extended: Afternoon/Evening showers likely for Friday and Saturday which will in turn keep temperatures in the 60s and low 70s for the majority of central/southern Colorado. Gradually clearing for our Sunday forecast with an extreme warming trend to start next week. We could be hitting into the low 90s on Monday and Tuesday, keep an eye on those summer time temps!
