Light evening flurries

Still hanging on to a few light snow flurries in Teller County. Snow accumulation will be very minimal with the biggest travel concern being wet roads. These snow showers are really struggling to move out of the mountains, but it'd expect isolated flurries crossing I-25 this evening with no significant impacts to drivers. Gradually becoming mostly clear after midnight with temperatures reaching about 17 in Colorado Springs.

Mostly clear skies will give way to increasing cloud coverage early Thursday afternoon. High temperatures in the mid-40s with a light breeze to 20mph. Overnight into Friday morning, chance snow showers will once again ride south over the higher elevations. Bringing a light dusting of snow to the region. Similar to today's event, minimal accumulation but expect wet spots on the roadways Friday morning.

This weekend will be one for the record books. Quite literally. Sunday afternoon temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s with forecasted highs ranging only a degree or two away from current records. A strong cold front will cross through the state Sunday night, cooling temperatures and bringing snow chances to start next week.
