Today: Mostly sunny to start off the day then quickly turning partly cloudy by early afternoon in Colorado Springs/Pueblo. Showers and thunderstorms will develop after 2pm in Southern Colorado with the biggest concern being flash flooding over burn scars. Most storms today will stay south/west of highway 50. Temperatures staying above average with a high of 86 in Colorado Springs and 91 in Pueblo.

Extended: Staying in the 80’s for high temperatures through Tuesday with isolated afternoon showers possible to start the week. By Wednesday central Colorado will enter into another dry spell with minimal rain chances for the rest of the workweek. Temperatures also cooling on Wednesday, back to seasonal normals in the high 70’s in El Paso County.
